Barcelona Business School – Website Development
Figma-to-Elementor Development & Conversion-Focused Program Pages
Developed the Barcelona Business School website in WordPress using Elementor, translating client-provided Figma designs into responsive web pages. I also recreated custom Claude-generated layouts for selected program pages, implementing conversion-focused sections, multiple calls to action, and interactive animations according to the supplied designs.
PROJECT STORY
A closer look at the work.
The Challenge
The project required accurate implementation of client-provided Figma designs across multiple website pages. After the initial development, the client supplied additional custom layouts generated with Claude for selected program pages, introducing new design and implementation requirements.
These program pages needed a more conversion-focused structure, with strategically placed calls to action, dedicated content sections, and animations. The challenge was to translate both the original Figma designs and the subsequent custom layouts into Elementor while maintaining visual consistency and matching the supplied references as closely as possible.
The Approach
I followed a design-led development workflow, using the client's Figma files as the primary reference for the initial website implementation. I recreated the supplied layouts in WordPress with Elementor, focusing on page structure, spacing, typography, imagery, and responsive presentation.
When the client later provided Claude-generated layouts for selected program pages, I treated them as additional implementation specifications. I translated those designs into Elementor sections, incorporating the required calls to action, content hierarchy, and animations while keeping the pages aligned with the website's overall visual identity.
The Solution
I implemented the Barcelona Business School website using WordPress and Elementor, translating the supplied Figma designs into functional website pages.
The development covered institutional content, educational program presentations, image-led sections, enquiry forms, and other page components included in the designs. I subsequently recreated the client's Claude-generated layouts for selected program pages, building conversion-focused page structures with multiple calls to action, clearly organized program information, and interactive animations.
The implementation focused on accurately reproducing the supplied designs within Elementor, allowing the client to use the intended layouts within the existing WordPress website.
The Outcome
The project delivered a WordPress website developed with Elementor from client-provided Figma designs, followed by the implementation of additional custom layouts for selected program pages.
The final implementation included dedicated program-page structures, multiple calls to action, and animations specified by the client. The project demonstrated my ability to translate detailed design references into Elementor layouts and accommodate evolving requirements during development.
The work focused on design implementation and page functionality; no unverified conversion-rate or lead-generation improvements are claimed.
