The Challenge
The existing RIHS website was built using a generic custom PHP template and needed a modern visual redesign. The key challenge was to refresh the website's layout and presentation while preserving its existing content and page structure, ensuring that important institutional information remained available to visitors.
The Approach
I reviewed the existing website's content and page structure before planning the redesign. The approach focused on retaining the established information architecture while creating a more contemporary visual experience. I used WordPress as the content management platform and Elementor to implement the redesigned page layouts and organize the website's content into clear, structured sections.
The Solution
I rebuilt the website in WordPress using Elementor, replacing the previous generic template with a modern education-focused design. The redesigned homepage features a prominent hero banner, institutional introduction, course listings, student testimonials, scholarship information, campus imagery, and an admissions enquiry section. A consistent visual style using green, white, and blue accents helps bring the different sections together while keeping the institution's existing content and pages intact.
The Outcome
The redesign transitioned the existing custom PHP website to WordPress and Elementor while preserving its established content and pages. The new website presents institutional information, academic offerings, student-focused content, and admissions enquiries through a refreshed visual layout. The project delivered a modernized website experience without claiming unverified performance or business growth metrics.
